Italy trip day 1: Milano 25.3.2010

Just came back from Italy trip. Here I am, blogging again. Same as the previous trip to Dublin, Ireland, we bought the earliest flight since it's cheaper and we would have more time to explore in the first stop, Milano City. The trip started after we allocate our stuffs in the train station. 

I love Italy as it surrounded with amazing architectures and buildings, every part of the city are perfect! Even the railway station was surprising me! 

  

Headed to S.Maria delle Grazie for "The Last Supper", unfortunately the ticket were sold out. So, we just managed to take photo outside the gallery. 

After that, headed to Castello Sforzesco, the first castle visited in Italy.

Finally we reached Piazza Duoma, main attraction at Milan. We paid 5 euro to climb up. =/ 

All of us were super duper tired in the end of the day as most of us didn't sleep due to the early flight. I felt asleep in MCD after having my dinner. *Yummy yummy burger* Hehe... I wish to have another one before leaving Italy but couldn't. 

Headed to Malpensa airport and we spent a night there since we will have a early flight to Rome. The photographer took this precious photo. Hehe... Staying in the airport wasn't that bad if no one spoilt the silent night. Luckily I am clever enough to bring my own blanket because I can foresee the night in airport might be cold. Hehe...

I was wondering is Milan a fashion city as it looks more like a historical city. Maybe I didn't explore fashion part of it? But no doubt that Milan is a classy city because everything is expensive such as few hundreds euros for a shirt or dress and lots of unknown brand stuffs with extremely high price. =/
